Jury applications for the Harvest Festival Street Fair are OPEN.
Applications are DUE JULY 25, 2021. You will be notified of acceptance on August 2, 2021.
Harvest Festival Information
Event Dates: October 2 & 3, 2021
Booth fees: Flat fee, no commission fees.
Single booth, 10' x 10' Flat fee: $350.00.
*New this year* - Single booth, Middle of Three: $325.00
Double booth: 10' x 20' Flat fee: $700.00.
Triple booth: 10' x 30' Flat fee: $1050.00, available as space allows.
Important Due Dates:
Applications are DUE JULY 25, 2021. You will be notified of acceptance on August 2, 2021.
Booth fees are due by September 10, 2021. Booth fees are committed in advance to pay the costs of the fair; therefore there are NO REFUNDS for any reason - again, NO COMMISSION FEES will be charged.
Set up: Friday, October 1, 2021.
Take down: Sunday, October 3, 2021 after 5:00
Booth space: Booth location is assigned by the Street Fair Coordinator, and is done so with your needs taken into consideration and/or the time of receipt of your application. It is not negotiable. A sign identifying your business MUST be on display in your booth. Your booth must be designed to withstand wind and inclement weather (weights are required ).
Set up: Friday, October 1, 2021. Set up time for the Fair is in assigned time slots from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Booth officials will be on hand to help you locate your booth. No booths will be allowed to set up prior to this time. Unload your work quickly and move your vehicle so others may unload. Each artisan must park his or her vehicle in a designated area after unloading for the day. PARKING ON THE STREET IS NOT PERMITTED. PARKING RULES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
Hours of operation: Artisans agree to adhere to the following Fair hours:
Saturday, October 2nd, From 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday, October 3rd, From 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
No take down will be allowed before closing time on Sunday. It is Highly Recommended that all products and items should be secured or put in totes each night to protect from wind and rain.
Sales tax: Artisans are required to charge and collect sales tax of 8.7%. A sales tax chart will be included in your check-in packet. You must have a Washington state UBI number or other state Tax ID and include it on your contract.
Security: Limited overnight security (two guards) will be provided. However, your booth and art remain your responsibility. Neither the City of Mount Vernon, nor the Mount Vernon Downtown Association assume responsibility for injury to persons or loss or damage to any property of the artists, including theft. You agree to be responsible for providing whatever liability and theft insurance you feel is necessary.
Restrictions and Requirements:
1. Vendors are not allowed to “rove” with their merchandise at anytime.
2. No alcoholic beverages, no pets, loud music, television, or hawking will be allowed in the vicinity of your booth.
3. The Fair Committee reserves the right to remove any work it does not consider suitable for a general audience of adults and children.
4. Acceptance to the 2021 Harvest Festival Street Fair is for this year only, and imparts no obligation upon the MVDA to invite a vendor to return in future years. An invitation to return is at the sole discretion of the MVDA, and Vendors may be required to resubmit to the jury in future years.
In case of real emergency, contact the Harvest Festival Street Fair organizer, to negotiate a mutually beneficial arrangement. I understand that if I do pack up my booth and leave festival grounds prior to the posted closing time, without notifying a festival official, it is considered a breach of contract and that any future application from me will not be considered.
About the Event

We welcome 140+ artisan vendors, live music, food trucks, and children’s activities to historic downtown Mount Vernon, WA.
Many of your favorite Tulip Festival Street Fair vendors are on deck, so MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Visitors will find wearable art, jewelry, handcrafted furniture, art and sculpture for your home and garden, and one-of-a-kind treasures.
Street Fair, as it is known colloquially, hosts several kid-friendly vendors, performers, and activities. Food Trucks are located throughout the Fair, featuring fifteen locations for delicious fare. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly afternoon or for an outing with friends, you’ll find something for everyone at the Harvest Festival Street Fair!
