Pure Salon & Spa

In 2019, Pure Salon & Wellness Spa celebrates seven years as a downtown Mount Vernon business. They relocated to their current location, the award-winning Polson Building, two years ago. Owners Amy Currie and Melissa Harris, both Skagit County raised, worked together for years before partnering to open Pure Salon & Spa. Trained in the Pacific Northwest, Amy attended Evergreen Community College, and Melissa attended the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle. Melissa and Amy bring a unique focus on wellness and education to their business, working with clients to achieve long term, lasting benefits for a lifetime of beauty.

Together, the Pure team has grown their business to fully embrace their vision to nourish the body inside and out, incorporating advanced, professional-grade, clean, natural products into their salon and spa practice. As industry demand grew, so did the quality of the products available. For salon clients, Pure offers innovative, high-performance hair products from UNITE, high-quality, award-winning formulas for all hair types. Wellness services include a variety of cutting edge services for face and body, designed to enhance well-being and deliver results.

Pure carries vegan, organic, food-grade make-up from RMS Beauty and Eminence Organics, with over 60 years in organic, spa-grade skin care. Continuing to focus on whole-body wellness, Pure integrated HUM Nutrition to their offering, vitamins and supplements designed to support a healthy inside, for a radiant outside.

Pure offers several classes throughout the year designed to help people focus on whole body wellness, partnering with experts to provide clients with tools and techniques to support a healthy body and beauty that is more than skin deep. Recent additions to the courses include a class for pre-teens and teenagers to educate them on caring for their skin, before acne becomes a problem.

Pure Salon & Wellness Spa is located at 419 S 1st St Suite A, Mt Vernon, WA 98274, follow them on facebook & instagram for updates on what’s happening and events.
